Yesterday was a gooood day for my teams! I should have placed bets on professional sports.

Emilie's drill team took first in military, dance, officers, and lyrical. Got judges favorite aaand took the sweepstakes! They balled pretty hard.

Facebook is alive with posts of the first big snowstorm in Utah. I personally don't enjoy rolling around and getting everything wet in the frozen water that comes this time of year, but it's nice to see that little kids still enjoy playing in the snow.

Kimmie and Caroline. Yes, I had to risk warmth to get these pictures. You're welcome ;) I didn't even bother to change out of my shorts and a t-shirt.. Added some moccasins and ventured out into the cold. 

On a side note, I am venturing into a 365 day photography adventure. Picture-a-day, kind of thing. We'll see how long this lasts.. ha!

just another manic monday

I miss autumn, and it just left me.

So, I just bought a new camera.. Nikon D5000 to be exact. It was a long time coming.. Saving up for over a year to buy this camera! Ha! As soon as I got it, a couple opportunities arose and I am the photographer for a hockey team in Provo, Utah. So you'll see a lot of hockey photos, but I also can't stop taking pictures of other things, let's just say that I might have a problem.
